  4. The formulae in SELECT.FRM were created by Jon Osuch.  
  5.  
  6. These formulae are for use with Fractint V16.0+ only.
  7.  
  8. There are several ways of accessing these formulae.  Perhaps the simplest
  9. is to rename FRACTINT.FRM to some other name, such as ORIGINAL.FRM, and 
  10. then to rename SELECT.FRM to the name FRACTINT.FRM and then execute
  11. Fractint.

  13. Another way is to use the command line option--
  14.  
  15.         fractint formulafile=select.frm
  16.  
  17. Yet another way is to place the option into a file.  Suppose you create
  18. a file named "SET" which contains--
  19.  
  20.         formulafile=select.frm
  21.  
  22. then you would execute Fractint as follows--
  23.  
  24.         fractint @set
  25.  
  26. The SET file can contain other options, for example--
  27.  
  28.         formulafile=select.frm, inside=0, video=SF6
  29.

  32. Some combinations of parameters and functions you will produce a
  33. one-color image.  If this occurs, try using the bof60 inside
  34. color on the <X> options screen, or using the distest option on
  35. the <Y> options screen.

  37. In other cases, a combination can cause Fractint to go haywire and even
  38. hang your computer.  When this occurs, simply reboot.
